But something is going wrong inside their own ranks: glitches, corrupted memories, and whispers that some officers are starting to question the directives implanted in their minds. As UNIT 5 closes in on the rebels, a deadly truth emerges—Prophecy 2122 may be targeting them too.
Rise of the Cyberpunks is a cyberpunk dimensional odyssey about a man from the present who is violently displaced into a fractured future Manhattan after discovering an impossible anomaly hidden in an abandoned alley. In this new reality, cybernetic factions, corrupt city-states, underground networks, and black-market prophets fight for control of a society collapsing under the weight of its own technological evolution. As he searches for a way back to his original timeline, he uncovers clues suggesting that the forces shaping this future may not be entirely human, and that his arrival may be connected to a deeper design buried beneath the city, the code, and time itself.
